RAVI SHANKAR
India's Master Musician:
Signed LP reverse and programme from Bradford Uni 1960s by Ravi and tabla player Alla Rakha.
Extremely rare signed 1962 UK LP on the Fontana label. Vinyl carries visible surface and light scratches, but still plays very well. Some crackle on intro but a pleasing listen. Graded as Good+ / VG visibly but still plays and sounds great. Laminated thick gloss sleeve is very good with some light crease but still clear and bright. Graded as very good. The important thing about these items is that they are both signed clearly By Ravi Shankar.
The programme from a live concert appearance at Bradford University 1960s (probably 62) very basic typed 4 page (see) displays a cost price of 3d. The concert was given by Ravi and tabla and tambura player Alla Rakha. Its signed clearly in green and blue ink by both players on the front (see). This has to be a one off and a very collectable item. Amazingly, its survived the years and makes a perfect partner for the record, obviously signed on the same date at the concert.
Nice to have for completeists collectors.

Sleeve--Very good, glued down solid, clear bright colours and text.
Labels--Clean, light spindle marks.
Vinyl-- Good++ still enjoyable and plays above grade on most tracks. Visibly surface marks with crackle on intros, but still a pleasing listen.
Programme--Clear signatures, No major damage, but brown edge foxing and light crease.
Very Hard to find and nice for Ravi, Beatles completeists.
