PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. PLAYS CLEAN! ADVANCE RELEASE PROMOTIONAL Major hard to find 1969 FIRST PRESSING LIME green Capitol Records label ... was pressed only once by Capitol, remaining very rare and sought after having loads of collector interest over the past many years ... A Gift From Euphoria is a well-funded album loaded with perfectly executed backing arrangements, excellent studio musicianship, psychedelic audio collage, and sound effects. It’s probably near to the apex of experimental rock from this era, and of the melding and juxtaposition of different styles of music. The first two tracks on the record demonstrate the pace. "Lisa" an expansive atmospheric number gives way to a legit rural-rock tune with pedal steel. Wait a little longer and you’ll get some fuzz guitar brain melters. Euphoria is all over the place on this album, which was recorded in Hollywood, London, and Bradley’s Barn. Some of the best session men in town helped out, and it shows. Nary an unprofessional sound is on this record and some of the arrangements are stunning. This is the only album released by the short lived Euphoria. The liner notes imply that the members disappeared, but parts of the liners are as out there as the sounds. Overall it's a strongly mix of rural flavored rock, some ballads, and some harder psychedelic rock featuring fuzz guitar, lots of sound effects, forwards and backwards tape loops, and dreamy vocals. Despite all this, the majority of psych flavor is often hidden, daring the listener to seek it out. It's got everything you'd want from a late 60's lp with the psychedelic bits, great little acoustic tracks with harpsichord, some excellent and a somewhat unique fuzz guitar style, some soaring orchestral work on "Young Miss Pflugg" and what sounds like sampled short bursts of drums/percussion on "Sunshine Woman."
Get this one for a supreme example of underground rock and rural rock gone suicidally psychedelic, sounding remarkably fresh today.

CONDITION: The cover: rated: VG++ very solid, square and sharp having only a little trace og light wear that shouldn't matter to most, save the stone mint 1%-ers. There NO are a creases or bends, no split seams, no writing and has frsh colors ...should work well in most any serious music collection topped off by the nice minty vinyl (see below)
