Up for auction is a monster rare "STEREO" Country/Rockabilly LP by the legendary WANDA JACKSON, titled THERE'S A PARTY GOIN' ON...recorded on the CAPITOL Records label, and this baby ROCKS. I have to tell you that, with all due respect, I was not into Country/Rockabilly music, but after hearing this sensational LP by Wanda Jackson, I have officially changed my mind!! Wanda Jackson was known as the "QUEEN OF ROCKABILLY" and now I know why!
This really cool LP is in pristine condition, folks and the sound grade is a strong NEAR MINT! I doubt that you will find a cleaner copy of this highly collectible LP...unless it is sealed! This killer LP could not have been played more than a few times...that's how clean it is.
The labels and the vinyl on both sides receive grades of NEAR MINT.
The jacket receives a grade of VG+, but it is in really nice condition for its age. The price sticker at the upper right corner of the back of the jacket, with a date of 3/63, has a price of $2.40...how cool is that?!
The original inner sleeve receives a grade of VG++, but only because of the minor fold in the lower right corner.
I want to have fun with this treasure, so I'll start the bidding at $10.00, and...let it ride! That said, serious collectors of ROCKABILLY genre music know how collectible this rare LP is, so I expect that it will find the perfect home in a prestigious vinyl record collection.
