Cult french jazz record , STEVE POTTS mostly know to be the friend of STEVE LACY on the sarvah recordings lp's , here is playing under his own name for an obscure soundtrack for a french moovie , the backing crew is made with CHRISTIAN ESCOUDE / FRANK ABEL (Lafayette afro rock band) / GUS NEMETH , the prod is made BY JEFF GILSON in his cult jazz studio PALM , thje whole lp is fine , mixing dope modern jazz / spirit jazz ( choosen beautiful notes / oriental mysthic scales ) with psych ( effects / electric treatments ) and even late 60°s funky tunes ( wahwah , e piano , groovy ba&ss drums backing ) , the result is a pure bomb easily a must have for every french jazz collector's !!!!
