Description
I will combine shipping! 0.50 each additional album. (double LP's 0.75)
Record - VG very glossy with some non feelable marks and one barely feelable scratch. Labels are in great shape. I did play the album and it played out very nice with some popping over the feelable scratch but did not skip.
Cover - VG++still in factory shrink wrap with light wear to opening edge. Spine is readable.
Inner Sleeve - poly lined white sleeve
Suzanne Lee Prince stares back at you from the cover of her 1978 album, Rusty Nails and Promises, with a piercing expression that reveals so much about her music and her personality. Shortly after the album’s release, Terry Brown of the Indiana Daily Press wrote an article about the budding local musician that ventured a comparison to none other than Janis Joplin. By all accounts, including other reviews of the album, the comparison was a fair one.
Her performance at the 1979 Midwest Blues Festival at Notre Dame University garnered rave revues, with her audience demanding three encores! Her album, Rusty Nails and Promises, has been cited in the Acid Archives web site as a… “very nice rare find” with Suzanne’s “sultry, resonant voice,” “…a strong songwriter”, “…much better than a lot more well-known albums in this genre!”
