VERY RARE Seeburg 1000 16 2/3 rpm BASIC CHRISTMAS LIBRARY ...all 25 records!! 

Okay according to an article in the Antique Phonograph News called "A History of 16-RPM Records, Part Three The Seeburg Background Music System
   by Mike Dicecco " The records for the Seeburg 1000 "were originally pressed by Columbia, then RCA, later Capitol." And since these have the Capitol Records Logo that to me means this was one of the last Christmas sets produced for Seeburg. There are no "Place In Use" Dates on the records or the box but according to the label on the top of the box, the set was last sent to Watkins Cafe in Forrest City, Ark. The reason I say last sent is because there are several labels on this box placed one over the other and some are pink and the last one light blue. The label also reads Basic (BMS-1) #7 and someone has written 71/70 and crossed out the 70. On the box itself someone wrote B1 over the number 65 so not really sure if that means they were from 1965 or 1970 but they are a great item.

Up for bids is a set of 25 Basic Christmas Library Records for the Seeburg 1000 Background Music System.  They sent these every year to replace the regular records for the Christmas Holidays!   The pics show the condition of the box and the records which would rate from VG+ to NM!

 This...to me...is the Holy Grail of Seeburg 1000 collections! I actually started getting interested in the machines for the Christmas Music...I love it!!   And I have never seen this complete set on eBay before !
