Description

VERY RARE INDUSTRIAL LIBRARY SET...all 28 records!!

VERY RARE Seeburg 1000 16 2/3 rpm  9" Records with a  2" center hole specially produced for the Seeburg Background Music System and Seeburg Encore Players.

Okay according to an article in the Antique Phonograph News called "A History of 16-RPM Records, Part Three The Seeburg Background Music System
by Mike Dicecco " The records for the Seeburg 1000 "were originally pressed by Columbia, then RCA, later Capitol."  Actually, I found out that Decca also produced some in the 60's!

Anyway, I just got in a set of INDUSTRIAL RECORDS that were individually sealed in a thick plastic. There were about 40 of them and I was gonna list them individually because there was a mixture of Basic, Mood and Industrial. While taking pictures of the records, I realized that there was a FULL set of yellow Industrial Records in Sequence from 101A to 128B! I have never seen 28 Seeburg records in sequence like this except for the Christmas Sets! I opened two or three of them to check the condition and they seem to be in pretty nice shape. The fact that the guy that sent them to me took the time to individually seal each record in a heavy plastic pouch telld me that he took very good care ot them. I'm visually grading the actual records that I opened as VG+ to NM. The rest will remain sealed but I'm sure you won't be disappointed. The OTHER thing is that even though these are all yellow labeled AND all copyrighted 1972 AND in sequence...some of them have different PLACE IN USE DATES. Some are '74 and most are '72. Some show produced by RCA and most don't...some have an extra number on the label (B5AM-3136 for example). The pictures show examples of this. Also some of the pics are not sharp because they are of a record that is still sealed in the heavy plastic pouch. AGAIN...The records are in sequence from 101A to 128B so that alone makes them highly collectible!!

Up for bids is a set of 28 INDUSTRIAL Library Records for the Seeburg 1000 Background Music System (will play on the BMS1, BMS2, BMC1 and ENCORE players).

This...to me...is the Holy Grail of Seeburg 1000 collections!    And I have never seen this complete of a set on eBay before !
