Description

Here is a Rare 45 by the legendary Spaniels on the vee jay label.  This was their 4th record for the label and like the earlier 3, this was issued on RED WAX, then black wax.  The red wax records are much rarer than the black wax.  This one catalogs for $750 in the Kreiter price guide.  Reserve is less than half of that.  Record grades out at a nice vg+ (both sides) with lots of lustre.  Only a couple of light scratches keep it from a higher grade.  Both sides play fine.  Labels have some type of pencil scribbling on them, probably to identify the owner which was customary when bringing records to parties.  It probably can be removed but is not that distracting.  Slight ring wear (check scans).  Lucky buyer to pay $5 for postage/handling/insurance.  Good Luck.
