We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. ! RARE "MADE IN ENGLAND" from 51 years past ...
...Very hard to find at all , especially as a CLEAN original 1970 BRITISH first pressing. The UK issue with extra-grainy/textured gatefold cover is rare and wanted (triple figures valued) -- the third HUMBLE PIE release and was the one that started the band to be recognized... the white front cover is usually found dirty and the black back cover is usually found with much wear = HERE a collection worthy keeper...
HUMBLE Pie was formed amidst much hype by ex-SMALL FACES guitarist STEVE MARRIOTT and former HERD guitarist PETER FRAMPTON in 1968. Joining them were former SPOOKY TOOTH bassist Greg Ridley and ex-SYD BARRETT drummer Jerry Shirley. The band were signed to ROLLING STONES manager Andrew Loog Oldham's Immediate Records and scored a hit single with 'Natural Born Boogie'. Despite this success their first two early albums failed to live up to the 'supergroup' status marked out for the band by the media. When their record label collapsed HUMBLE PIE signed to A&M Records together with new manager Dee Anthony and started to aggressively tour America, releasing this classic album self titled as "Humble Pie" in 1970. Alternating hard-driving blues-rockers with rural-folk numbers, Humble Pie neatly showcases the two sides of this band's personality on their first release for a major American label and third UK album overall. All of the elements are in place for the sound that would reach its studio peak with the next release, Rock On, and culminate with the classic Live at the Fillmore album. "Earth and Water Song" provides a blueprint for the guitar-based sound Peter Frampton would ride to multi-platinum success as a solo artist later in the decade. "One Eyed Trouser-Snake Rumba" and "Red Light Mama, Red Hot!" show the hard-rocking direction in which Steve Marriott would move the band after Frampton's departure the following year..."Humble Pie" is the first heavy-blues album that began the magic of Steve Marriott's hardrockin success. "Live With Me" is a driven-to-tears 10 minutes long blues story. And there is "I'M Ready", and "Red Hot Light Mama", explosive hard rock ! The acoustic songs are less good than the electrified heavies, but the ensemble is fantastic, full of this particular heavy soul that Marriott injects within.

- The cover: rated: Strong "EX" (excellent and better, no more than a trace of handling exists - well maintained for pat 50+ years ...The U.K. gatefold the fragile/ textured cover is usually found with dirt and soil, this copy the, front cover is SNOW WHITE near M-...the back cover is dark and almost all copies have some shelf wear, this back cover is solid "EX" (excellent) = this is about close to as nice as you can find -- the back cover of the LP is known to be extremely wear-prone ...Altogether the gatefold is stiff, solid and crisp...NO delete marks, (no cut corners) no seam splits, no bends, no writing...
- The vinyl: Rated: is all glossy clean M- over both sides, lovely! Looks and plays FANTASTIC and has clean UK brown A&M labels
