Description
This is an original vinyl pressing of the classic 1976 Beatles album - Magical Mystery Tour. Originally the Magical Mystery Tour came in the format of 2 7" EPs in 1967. This album adds to that other tracks from singles and B sides which were released at about the same time. On Parlophone ref PCTC255, single boxed silver Parlophone label Matrices YEX 959-1 // YEX 960-1, 1ST UK ALBUM pressing. Record is EX+ Leaning towards near mint, very little I can pick up on and labels on both sides are clean and free from even spindlewear. Inner Sleeve is plain white Outer Sleeve is an EX- The only thing stopping his being an EX+ is small tear inside the rear gatefold and on the outside rear as pictured and a small scuff on the spine. The front is free from ANY creasing, spine is nice and square and readable, stapled naturally for the booklet Booklet is all present and correct, Loveley piece of artwork featuring some classic scenes from the film. I use the Record Collector Grading Criteria which is as follows: Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint. Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
