*RARE* THE BEATLES Rubber Soul, Parlophone, PMC 1267, December 3, 1965, mono LP loud cut variation B; Ernest J.Day & Co. front laminated flipback cover.
Let me preface this by saying I am not a record dealer, just an average joe who has inherited some vinyls. All information/reviews given is to the best of my ability. Please review photos carefully.
Now onto the record…
This is neither a first or second pressing, but somewhere in between. Released in 1965, this is a variation of the first pressing, which according to legend was ‘too loud’ for John Lennon and had to be hastily remade. Some of the records ended up with one side the original loud cut version and the other normal. This is what we have here and is known as variation B. Great collectors addition.

Vinyl - good/very good: album plays throughout with no major issues, some minor crackling/pops here n there and background noise but no distortion as far as I can tell. Jumps a tiny bit once in ‘drive my car’. I think a professional clean would really help. Minor scratches on vinyl but nothing crazy for a 58 year old record. Please see photos.
Cover - good, some slight discolouration and bent corners but otherwise fine. See photos
