Description: Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one featuring two discs by The Cure.

Several unique things about this item:  Firstly, these two discs retain the original shine with no visible imperfections,  grading by sight in normal room light.    I'm sure if you took these and put them under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes them less than mint.  If you're that kind of collector, let me suggest this auction is not for you.

I don't claim these records are mint.  Based on past experience and visual examination, I'd expect the tracks to audibly average at least VG+(excellent) with some scattered very light surface noise.  If you want an audio grade of an entire record, no problem, just drop me a note well in advance of the end of auction.  You can then assign your own grade based on my comments on what I heard and the GRADING SCALE BELOW!.  I did take the time to play three portions of each side and noted only a very light surface noise at the beginning of two sides.    

Keep in mind how they play for me may differ how they play for you based on differences in audio equipment. 

Secondly, at the time of this listing, no current offerings on e-bay for this 2 LP lot!  Other individual offers have sold for $20 and up!

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s). 

Here is a summary of the record(s):

Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:

• NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
• 3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise
• 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops
• VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective)
• VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise
• G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise

I normally ship a single record in a standard 12.5 x 12.5 x 1 record mailer.  Weight with box is 1 pound 9 ounces. Shipping is $3.09 Media Rate (1-2 pounds) + $1.20 box/tape/pack = $4.29.
Alternatively, I can ship in a  14 x 14 x 6" box. Weight with box is about 2 pound 1 oz. Shipping is $3.57 Media Rate (2-3 pounds) + $1.70 box/tape/packing = $5.27.

This auction is currently set to ship in the smaller box.  If you want the larger box, let me know and I'll send an appropriate invoice.

Buyer pays shipping/handling. Standard method within U.S. is Media Rate, $4.00 This includes online tracking. Outside U.S., e-mail location to determine S/H costs prior to auction end. 2.   If I approve it, then return the item in the original box within 30 days of receipt by you.
