Description
ULTRA SCARCE original 1966 DECCA Argentina pressing of "The Who Sing My Generation". Very unique and collectible Spanish cover! I normally do not sell records in the condition of this Who album; but since this is such a rarity, I'm offering it to the collectors that want to get their hands on an original copy for their collection. As you can see from the pictures (actual photos of the item for sale), the cover and disc show a good amount of wear. I played both sides of the record, and it did slightly skip twice (maybe a few measures of the entire album). Surprisingly though, overall, this mono recording doesn't sound terrible at all if you don't mind some cracks and pops.
VINYL: G (Still has a little bit of original gloss, surface noise throughout on my turntable, but does not overwhelm the hot mono tracks, a few skips that go right back on track, no warp, cracks, or really deep marks)
COVER: G (taped split seams, clean readable spine, writing on the back, but clear front)
Please note that my grading is VISUAL (not play graded). Some records may play better or worse than visual appearance...then again you know that; because you are a record collector too! Generally, my records will be better than described...but returns are always accepted!
Visual Grading Scale for Records:
Sealed: Jacket is sealed in the original shrink wrap.
NM : Near perfect, no visible signs of wear
EX : A few visual imperfections, very, very light marks (e.g. sleeve scuffs)
VG+ : May have light marks and at least one light scratch
VG : The record will display greater numbers of light marks and scratches
VG- : At least one mark of which can be felt with a fingernail
G : The record will have heavy wear: any amount of marks, both lighter and those which can be felt with a fingernail
Poor : Records with this grade should be considered unplayable
I HAVE BEEN COLLECTING RECORDS FOR ALMOST 20 YEARS. I HAVE DESCRIBED THIS ITEM AS BRIEF - BUT ACCURATELY, AS I CAN. I WILL NOT SELL RECORDS THAT I WOULDN'T LISTEN TO MYSELF, UNLESS NOTED IN THE DESCRIPTION.
