Description
This is an original UK vinyl pressing of the classic 1969 album from The Who - Tommy On Track Records Ref 613 013 (2657 002) Matrices are A4 (Side 1)//B3 (Side 4)//B2 (Side 2) //B3 (Side 3), not a 1st press but very early. BOTH Records are EX+ , beautiful sheen to the vinyl, labels are also clean and free from marks with only minimal spindle wear - this has not seen much turntable time. Inner Sleeves are plain white poly lined 'Plastic Bags can be dangerous' types, both EX with no splits BOOKLET is Nr Mint, has the Limited Edition Number text on page 1 but has no numbers in keeping with 2nd Press Outer Sleeve is the triple Gatefold, non laminated, made by Howards Printers, Slough. this is a VG. Slight Ringwear and shelfwear on the bottom spine. Side spine has a tear at the top for the 1st inch or so, otherwise its fine though slightly angled - no writing appeared on the spine for this album. A couple of small creases to the corners on the back and one or two small hairlines but basically in very good shape. I use the Record Collector Grading Criteria which is as follows: Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint. Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
