PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Recorded live May 24 (A1-A6, B2) and May 27 (B1, B3, B4) 1973.

The "Fan Man" recounts: "This was the first concert I ever recorded. Most of my Morrison recordings were done on a large black recorder that belonged to my mother who used it in the elementary school classes she taught. It was probably 25-inches long, 15-inches wide, and a good 5-inches thick if not more. It was a hefty, front-loading machine on which you popped up a plastic cover and snapped the cassettes in place. The microphone was standard issue, nothing fancy. Fidelity was good enough for about half of this recording to become the first Van Morrison underground album, A Spawn of the Dublin Pubs.
and the "fan-man" continues: "For this one, my girlfriend Laura and I sat against the back left wall by the door leading to the dressing rooms, bathrooms and stairs to the balcony seats. Those seats in the tiny club were on a raised platform to give folks in the back a good view of the stage. I sat in the far left seat, Laura to my right, where she took some fabulous photos once the concert got started.
A few moments later, the voice of Doug Weston, founder and owner of the Troubadour, came over the sound system, encouraging us to give a warm welcome to Van Morrison. A roar went up and the small, gray figure standing to my left started for the stage. It was Van. "If ever there was a tour to see Van Morrison, it would have been this one. He had an almost James Brown-like swagger and confidence as a performer here. Overall it was positively joyful, beatific even. The show contained epic workouts of "Caravan," "Listen To The Lion" and "Cyprus Avenue" along with unbridled energy to material from his greats Saint Dominics Preview "recordings but completely different superior versions ...
