Description

The Black Rider is an album by Tom Waits, released in 1993 on Island Records. The album contains studio versions of songs Waits wrote for the play The Black Rider, directed by Robert Wilson and co-written by William S. Burroughs. The play is based on the German folktale Der Freischütz, which had previously been made into an opera by Carl Maria von Weber.

This is an incredibly rare and long deleted vinyl LP and one of only a few on Ebay. Currently the only one for sale in the UK.

In addition, it's an awesome composition, one of Tom Waits most interesting and sinister.

The outer sleeve shows minimal signs of wear, a slight tear on the spine.

The inner sleeve is in excellent condition and features the song lyrics.

The disc is in EXCELLENT, NEAR MINT condition. No visible scratches
