Description
Up for auction is a very rare Tommy Boy promotional record - Afrika Bambaataa Don't Stop Planet Rock This is the Original 1992 12” Double record promo. Comes with an unused Tommy Boy VIP Pass.
Please note this record is used. It comes from the KLA Radio collection. There is writing on the cover and the label. The record would be graded VG Or better. There is minor surface noise in quiet spots and transitions. It sounds fantastic but please note there is wear on the record and you should expect light visual markings on the vinyl and normal vinyl light surface noise that you would expect with any used record. Again, the record sounds GREAT. I just don’t like anyone to have any false expectations on records so I try to be as thorough as possible with grading.
There is a gold stamp promo on the front, a sticker with notes from Randy J dated 5-20-92 for notes for other DJs at the station. See photos of the sticker and writing on the cover, creases, record ring wear, Seam on side has one inch middle center split where the record slides in. Not large but it’s there and one can also be found on the bottom center
Feel free to message me if you would like me to take more photos or answer any additional questions. I’m happy to do so.
Please note with rare records such as this all sales are final. Of course I’m a reasonable person and if you ran into an issue I was unaware of I would absolutely make things right. See my feedback!
