PLAY GRADED:
Equipment used to test this LP was my Townshend Rock II turntable positioned on a Townshend Seismic Vibration Isolation Platform, with a Linn Ittok modified arm and Audio Technica VM95ML Shibata modified cartridge feeding through a Trilogy 906 phono stage positioned on a Townshend Seismic Sink. Amplification is a Lavardin IS amp positioned on a Townshend Seismic Vibration Isolation Platform. The 12" was played through its entirety with surface noise virtually non existent. Even on both opening tracks surface noise was minimal. There were no skips, jumps of mis-tracking. No track revealed any evidence of sticking or jumping. There were no loud pops on any of the 2 tracks. No distortion was heard listening the music flowed with crystal clean clarity. If i was grading this 12" out of 10 then I would confidently give it a 9.8 out of 10 playback. Amazing playback for a record thats 45 years old
Please note that this is a used item and there is always isolated static, ticks, light pops that maybe or can be heard, even in the quieter places during the play of any vinyl. There will be elements of surface noise.
THE COVER: The matt cover shows just very light minimal wear to the top and bottom edges plus spine. The spine is free from any creasing with the spine text clearly visible and legible. There are no signs of any other forms of damage. All corners have just very light minimal wear with light age related rounding and creasing. The covers surface has virtually no surface storage scuffing. I have graded the cover in EXCELLENT+ condition.
THE BACK COVER: The back cover reflects the front and reveals no damage at all. I have graded the back cover again in EXCELLENT+ condition.
THE INNER SLEEVE: Plain white protected inner.
THE VINYL: Both sides of this vinyl 12" still retains all of there original lustre and sheen with no dulling and in daylight still looks amazing. Placed under a 100w bulb there are no deep scratches to either side of this LP. There are fine hairline marks to both of the surfaces. I have graded this 12" in EXCELLENT+ condition.
