If you google the "Bali Hai boys" you will find some interesting background info on this recording. They were three roommates from Orange County who pioneered the blueprint for fantasy south seas resorts which are now common in tropical areas around the world - they even developed the the over-water bungalow concept! They are featured in the Dec. 21, 1962 issue of life magazine.
Beginning in 1960 and eventually expanding to four resorts in Tahiti, they commissioned this recording, probably as a souvenir, in 1975. The music is lively, with an informal feeling, and played with great skill. The only band credits are Gabriel, musician and singer, and Nora, female lead singer. I haven't been able to find another copy on the internet.
The album shows signs of handling, including some very light scratches and surface marks which do not affect the listening experience. There are a few cracks and pops, but nothing objectionable.
The front cover has a crease ( pic 2 &7 ), and some ring wear, but colors and pictures are not broken. Be sure to review my feedback, and message me if you have any questions.
