Description
The Beatles "REVOLVER" LP. Still sealed in original shrink wrap with breath holes.
1966 stereo pressing on Capitol Records. ST 2576.
The fact that this sealed album contains an original 1966 pressing is evidenced by:
a) No manufacturing number to the left of the RIAA symbol on the back cover. Later stereo pressings had such a number. This indicates that a 1966-pressing is enclosed within.
b) The "needle damage" text appearing on the back cover. This rules-out an issue post-1967. This indicates that a 1966-pressing is enclosed within.
c) The colored Capitol Records inner sleeve is evident at the mouth of the cover!
This sealed album is CRISP and CLEAR. Shrink wrap is tight. Shrink has small opening near the mouth of the cover, as evident in the picture. Appropriate "breath holes" are evident on the front and rear. Letter "A" pricing sticker affixed to the back cover. Bottom right-hand and left-hand corners have the tiniest 'pushes'. Incredibly minor issue, but wanted to mention.
This is an absolutely gorgeous piece -- just like a record store would have sold it in August 1966!
