The Beatles - Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
SLPEA 1006
Extremely scarce Singapore issue from 1970 with censored track list.
All tracks with supposed drug references were removed and replaced with tracks from Magical Mystery Tour (The Fool On The Hill, Baby You're A Rich Man & I Am The Walrus which is misspelled on the label).
Gatefold issue with original inner.
These hardly every come up for sale and this copy is in fantastic condition.
This has been play tested and plays extremely well - lovely punchy sound with only slight noise between tracks which is to be expected.
Grading:
Vinyl: EX (absolutely fantastic copy with a few spindle marks, the vinyl itself still has a lovely sheen and has been extremely well looked after)
Cover: EX (I have always kept this in a plastic sleeve, as you can see from the photos the cover and spine are in fantastic shape for their age).
