ITEM DESCRIPTION

 

  • ARTIST : Black Keys
  • TITLE : The Big Come Up
  • LABEL: Alive
  • CONDITION :NM for the record, VG++ for the cover.
  • DESCRIPTION: First pressing on white vinyl. Has only been played twice. I have been asked if I have documentation to prove it is a first pressing, I do not, however, the reissue on white vinyl has a flimsy laminated cover. This copy is not laminated, it has a matte finish on sturdy cardboard. Also, there is no bar code on this copy, which is another way to tell the difference between re-issue and an original.  I guarantee this to be an original. I do not know if these are the only differences between the two. If anyone out there can give me another sure way of knowing, ie: (matrix numbers in the dead wax) please let me know. Thanks.

 

GRADING

Grading is always subject to interpretation. I try to grade very conservatively.


M-  This only comes up if it is new.  

VG++  Rarely played, still like new.

VG+  Plays great but showing signs of age or wear.

VG  Generally this grading still plays good, but may have surface noise and loss of record gloss.

VG-  Many times these still are decent copies but ticks and pops and surface noise are usually present.

G+  Only sell at this grade if it is extremely rare, usually pretty beat but not unplayable.
