Description

This rare item is "The Roots Of Lightnin' Hopkins" on Folkways Records, released in 1965 on a 3 3/4 IPS reel to reel tape. The artist featured is Lightnin' Hopkins, known for his Texas blues style. The item is a piece of music history from the 1960s, with mono audio channels and a catalog number of FTS 31011-B.


Please view photos carefully. This is the exact item you will receive. This is a very rare early release of this album. As I understand it it was re-released in 1968 or so on vinyl, but I cannot find tape anywhere like this one. I was able to play test this tape at a friend‘s house and it sounded very good. It is in overall stunning condition for its age. Again, look at the photos and I tried to include enough that you have an excellent description of this tape prior to your purchase. If you can supply me with additional information on this, I would much appreciate that as well too.
