Rare 1965 The Shadows Korean Orange Vinyl LP Tower  TWL-6001
Up for auction is this very rare1965 Korean release of The Shadows titled Rhythms & Greens (Yes it's a misspelling of the EP Title). First we all know Rhythm & Greens was a 6 track EP but here we have 14 tracks over 2 sides. The first 6 tracks are true to the name but then it ventures off into more of a "Hits" type LP. It's on a label called Tower but that's not the Capital Subsidiary we're all familiar with. I found this buried in a rack in a thrift store of all places and the sleeve is just a paper one sealed in plastic. I'm assuming a couple of things, this is probably an unauthorized release (Hence the UA in the subtitle) and I'm calling it a 1965 because the interior ring has 65-14-6 etched where you'd normally look for the pressing info so I have to assume it was produced June 14th of 1965, also if you know anything more feel free to contact me, I've hunted and searched and even received help from other Ebay memebers and this is the best I could figure from the research after a month but again I'm so far from an expert that I'm the opposite of that word when it come to vintage vinyl. I'm not a vinyl seller on a regular basis so I cannot grade these as well as most but I'd say the Vinyl (and only the vinyl) is probably at least VG and some might go VG+, again keep in mind this is subjective since this isn't my normal area of dealing. The sleeve you can self grade by the pics. I do have decent pics and A Youtube Video so you can hear it. One thing to note I shot the video with a Canon Powershot so you can add about 20% more bass to your actual expections.         The packed shipping weight will be between 1 and 2 pounds. Keep in mind packed shipping weight includes the item(s), packing material, and a strong corrugated box (yes this obne will ship in a box for safety) to insure safe delivery. See pictures sometimes they are the best guide to bidding.          

We do NOT do anything to most items we find. Our experience shows that you, the collector, know more about these things than we do. Most people will tell you a dealer knows a little bit about a lot of things. We don't want to do anything that could change an item in a way that would be undesirable to the eventual owner. Some people like an aged look or patina and others want items to look as if they were just made and that decision isn't ours to make. We specialize in acquisition not restorations.           

 Also in so far as smoking concerns go we can make no judgement. If the estate was obviously a smoking home we disclose it but my wife and I both grew up with smokers and were smokers when we were younger and we're immune to the smell of tobacco as a result so PLEASE keep that in mind while bidding.
