This is an authentic demo tape from one of Canada's greatest rock bands of all time...The Tragically Hip! It was recorded on May 26, 1986 in Toronto. The reason I have it is because my father (Ken Greer) produced their self-titled EP. I found this in an old rack of tapes when cleaning out my old garage and thought that a hardcore fan or collector would want to have it. It has some of the earliest versions of The Hip's classics from Up To Here- New Orlean's is Sinking, I'll Believe In You, etc. as well as some very rare songs that have never been put on record!! There are a total of 17 songs on this cassette, see the picture for complete track listings. The sound quality is surprisingly great, given that it was recorded over 20 years ago and there are NO inconsistencies or blemishes on the tape. The Hip is a multi-Juno winner, selling millions of records, and have since been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. Get this very important piece of their history, while you still can. It is very rare and deserves a good home. Thanks for bidding!! Shipping will be in a bubble wrapped envelope at a very fair price (around $5).
