Description
Here we have a super rare 7" Advanced promo copy of Turnstyle Riding a wave /Trot. This was the first band of Mark Ashton who went on to form huge prog band Rare Bird. This is a great piece for any collector. Its a 1968 promo numbered 7N 17653. It even has the date stamped on the inner of 29 Nov 1968. This is the promo PYE would have sent out to radio stations etc. The music is described as Phycadelic, I had a listen and thats about right really, reminds me a bit of Syd era Pink Floyd! The record its self plays fine and is in very good condition. It has some marks on the disc but both sides played through when I tried it. Tiny bit of background fuzz at the start but nothing unusual. Its hard to get good quality pics of the vinyl close up as the marks just dont show up well. Id give it a hight 7/10 for condition. Iv started the auction at 1p with NO Reserve so get stuck in!!! Many thanks for looking
