Description

NICE COPY OF THE VERY RARE ORIGINAL PRIVATE-PRESSING UK LP - "New Sounds In Folk"( Harlequin/Halycon Records HAL.1) MONO. Released in 1966, this MEGA-RARE UK LP features Jo-Ann Kelly, Don Partridge, Ian McCann, The Melodic Jug Stompers, plus the Roan County Boys. Some of the tracks are "live", recorded at The Mother Hubbard, Loughton, Essex, the rest studio recordings, including Jo-Ann Kelly singing "Black Rat", and "Buddy Brown Eyes", plus Don Partridge singing "Come All Ye Fair And Tender Maidens" and "Long Years Ago". This is one of the most OBSCURE AND RARE folk albums, and is in EX+/EX+ CONDITION!
