Description
So, after five decades of collecting vinyl and Hi-Fi, the time has finally come to downsize. Over the next few months, with great reluctance, I will be gradually selling off my treasured collection of records, cds and hi-fi equipment. It will take a while !!! For instant sale is a seldom-seen UK copy of the rare ska single from 1967 called 'DON'T CALL ME DADDY' by DERRICK MORGAN. It is backed with 'GIRLS TOWN SKA' by the BABA BROOKS BAND and is on the collectible SKA BEAT label with the catalogue number JB.218. A genuine copy, it has the matrices EJ 3002 A//1 and EJ 3002 B//2 stamped in the runout grooves. It comes in a generic white sleeve. The labels are in very good or excellent condition but there are a few 'spindle trails' which you might be able to see in the photos. The Baba Brooks side also has the remains of a sticker attached to the label although this should be removable with care. Please study the photos carefully to see the condition for yourself. Both sides of the record have many surface marks and scuffs from being taken in and out of the sleeve but there are no major scratches. The record is in very good condition and plays without any 'sticks' or 'jumps'. Both sides play really well without much surface noise ('crackle') or 'pops' and, in fact, play much better than what you might expect by looking at the record surfaces. I will dispatch the record in a proper record mailer and will post within one working day of purchase by second class post so that it gets on its way to you as soon as possible.
