Shirley Collins - The Foggy Dew
Released on the collectors Label this EP dates from near the start of Shirley’s career and was part of an attempt in the late fifties to record and save many English folk songs that people feared might be lost forever
As far as I can ascertain it was recorded in 1959 although the EP may not have been released until a few years later

Condition:
Cover: The front of the cover is a little browned and has some light creasing, the reverse is also a little browned and has some black marks which may clean off with solvent, there is s slight seam split at the bottom none of the damage is serious. VG
Record: There are quite a few light marks but all are minor, the record plays well but in view of the narrow grooves I will grade down to VG
