ULTRA RARE "One Off" Splatter Colored Pressing of Motown M-10. Mary Wells - The One Who Really Loves You / You Beat Me To The Punch - 45.
Totally undocumented on the web (as far as my extensive research has shown), this record is commonly referred to as an "After Hours" pressing, aka an employee of the plant that made this 45 stayed after hours and pressed this copy for themselves or for whatever reason. "After Hours" pressings have become very sought after by collectors.
We have no idea if more than one of this 45 was similarly made, but the lack of documentation leads us to believe that this "After Hours" concept is correct, as there are many other cases that are similar with other labels and artists. (I could not find any other Motown 45 pressed with multi-colored splatter, other than one Jackson Five 45 with yellow & dark spots that has surfaced)
Holy Sh*t is this a rare 45. We are in awe of the undoc'd nature, and scarcity of anything on Motown pressed like this.
