Description
Here is a RARE collectable lp from my collection offered up for sale: This is Elvis' debut 1st album "Elvis Presley", an original 1956 1st pressing released by RCA LPM 1254 (MONO). It has the heavy vinyl with silver top Nipper labels that say "Long Play" at the bottom, as baggie inner sleeve. Music features Elvis at his best in 1956 performing his rock 'n roll HITS with Scotty Moore on guitar, great album! Songs include Carl Perkins "Blue suede shoes", Ray Charles "I got a woman", Little Richard's "Tutti Frutti", Blue Moon, and MORE! These originals are getting SCARCE! This album has been well cared for, hard to find in this condition and originals are getting SCARCE!
The vinyl rates VG+, is clean and glossy, has some light marks, has been PLAY TESTED. Plays excellent from start to finish, deep clear sound with a few errant light pops, no skips or jumps, a very enjoyable listen! Deadwax reads G2 PP1282-8S H and G2 PP1283-7S H
The vintage cover rates strong VG+, has clean and bright front portrait of Elvis, edges and corners have wear, no tape, binder edge still partly readable, has only a couple very light spot stains, no signatures or writing, has been a well cared for 62 year old cover, hard to find! Baggie inner sleeve is super clean only a small partial split at opening. (see all pics)
Will be shipped in a protective plastic outer sleeve inside a secure record mailing box with tracking number. Vinyl will be shipped in a "throw away" paper inner sleeve outside cover to prevent splits. This item will be double boxed for extra protection.
