Rare vintage five-record boxed set provided by the SFM Holiday Network to radio stations for airing on New Year's Eve, designed to give dj's the night off and to advertise the 1979 line-up of SFM Holiday TV programming (which looks pretty "meh"). The SFM Holiday Network was small and obscure, so don't feel badly if you don't remember it (I don't). It makes this set that much more collectible in comparison to a Casey Kasem countdown. Music by Billy Joel, Yvonne Elliman, ABBA, Gerry Rafferty and more; news includes Vietnam, Skylab, deaths of two Popes, spy stories, test-tube baby and more; sports includes Leon Spinks and Muhammad Ali boxing victories; Bjorn Borg winning at Wimbledon and the Yankees winning the World Series. Vinyl is near mint; box is excellent; insert has small stains on back sheet. Don't miss the chance to add this to your transcription collection!
