XTC Apple Vinyls (2006 UK Strictly Limited Collectors Edition set comprised of 26 tracks across 13 7" vinyl singles featuring recordings from 'Apple Venus Vol. 1' and Vol. 2 'Wasp Star'. Each single is presented in an individual thick paper stock picture sleeve, with the complete set housed in a picture box with the varnished peacock feather design, complete with printed card belly band!). 12 of the 13 picture sleeves join to form a two-sided puzzle picture of Andy Partridge and Colin Moulding.
The song “Where Did The Ordinary People Go?” on disc 12 side A [previously only available as a digital download!], and both songs on disc 13, side A “Spiral” and side B “Say It”, are bonus tracks not on other issues of these albums.
The records and their accompanying picture sleeves are as new. The records themselves appearing unplayed. Both the outer box top and bottom are very clean and bright white. The box top has a slight push to the lower right corner having no effect to the corner seams. It does not affect the picture sleeves or the records. The printed card belly band shows only the slightest amount of age toning. This vinyl box set is quite difficult to find and a descent conditioned copy sells for nearly $300.00.
