Description
Here is a MEGA RARE vintage album from my collection offered up for sale: The album "Vladimir Horowitz piano music of Mendelssohn and Liszt" released circa 1951 on RCA Records 9021 Mono, this is a 1st pressing on heavy weight vinyl with the 1950's style Red Seal labels, has vintage baggie inner sleeve. This album cover is an early example of line drawing by ANDY WARHOL, he continues this style of cover art for many jazz records to come. This one has a GREAT cover, clean and bright, looks minimally handled!
The cover rates EX, front art work is clean and bright with almost no ring wear, there is a small light blemish to the slick on right of face (barely noticeable, see photo), the edges and corners have minimal wear but a couple splits were neatly re-glued, no tape, binder edge is readable, back has only light age discoloration, no stains, no writing, has been very well cared for! (see all photos)
The vinyl grades VG, is glossy and clean, has some light marks, nothing feel-able. Has been PLAY TESTED, plays with clear sound with some light popping, a few more moderate pops.
