Description
Here is a RARE classic vintage roots of rock n roll album from my collection offered up for sale: James Brown's debut lp album "James Brown And His Famous Flames, Please, Please, Please", released in 1959 by King Records 610 Mono, this is a 1st pressing with the 1950's style rigid vinyl with "black and silver" labels, with the FIRST "Legs" cover, cool! Re-issues of this album have a different cover. This pressing has a high book value, is valued for it's rarity and historical contribution rather than it's audio quality, but it still plays and looks great, cool!
The vinyl grades VG+, is super clean and glossy, has a few faint sleeve marks and only a few small light marks, has been well cared for! PLAY TESTED, plays through from start to finish with excellent sound, clear sound with only a couple errant pops, no skips or jumps! The labels have a sticker on them. The cover rates VG, front is clean and bright with gloss and no ring wear, has a small spot where slick is rubbed off (on image of man's leg), the edges have only light wear but partial splits at opening neatly re-glued, no tape, binder edge solid but not readable, no signatures or writing, back has some spots where slick is rubbed off and a bit of age discoloration near edges.
