Description

The BEATLES with Tony Sheridan: MY BONNIE b/w THE SAINTS (MGM 13213 with title sleeve, 1964): record is a clean VG+, sleeve is also VG+ without tears or seam splits, just a trace of ring wear, and a tiny pen mark one one side (at the bottom of the "B" of "BEATLES": see last photo).

In the mad '64 rush to release anything that The Beatles had ever smelt, felt, or recorded, MGM got the rights to the 1961 sessions in which John, Paul, George, and Pete had backed Reeperbahn lunatic Tony Sheridan.  They issued this single on February 15, but it wasn't up to the standard of actual Beatles recordings (John Lennon pronounced it "terrible!"), and stalled at #26 on the U.S. Hot 100.  You may know that it's a lot harder to find a decent copy of this 45 (and especially its sleeve) than the Capitol, Swan, and Vee Jay singles from the salad days of Beatlemania.

Here's a nice example for your collection, at least until you're ready to spend a hundred or two for mint-minus near-perfection.  Count on the friendly fanatics at BeatleDave to give you the highest quality without the premium price; we're opening this collector's item at 99 cents without reserve.  One only!

We combine shipping for multiple-lot winners, and offer a money-back guarantee; if you're not happy, return it for a refund (nobody's returned anything yet!)  We'll ship the 45 outside its picture sleeve to preserve its condition, in a protective clear sleeve.  Add us to your favorite sellers list, and check out our other great auctions and buy-it-now bargains.
