Description
What I’m offering is a copy of the RARE jazz LP by Thelonious Monk titled The Unique Thelonious Monk, mono, issued on Riverside RLP 12-209 in 1956. This is an ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING with WHITE LABELS and is NOT a reissue of any kind.
The grading on the LP is VG+ cover, VG+ record.
The cover has light front surface wear, and a small 1 inch taped bottom seam at the mouth.
The record, which is a deep groove pressing, has a few light surface mark/ pressing lines per side creating an occasional click and pop, especially during the soft passages of the LP.
The record is a slightly noisy pressing with a soft, underlying static-y playback throughout. With that said, I still consider this LP a keeper copy.
