Description
This 45 should be well known, but for some reason it's not. It's got an unusual vocal, great guitar work, smashing drums, and typifies that unusual, visceral, raw, and very personal sound typical of the best Ohio small label soul/funk 45s.....,Maybe almost all of the copies were destroyed, maybe the band decided not to release it, who knows. It's got some great guitar work, especially on part II the instrumental side, and the vocal side has an unusual sound, with an earworm melody..... It's been well played, with scuffs and scratches on both sides. Part one, with vocal side visually grades G, part II, the instrumental side visual grade G+.and plays better. The record quiets down as it plays...... For those collectors who value extremely rare soul 45s, for Ohio 45 collectors, for DJ's who want the prestige of playing 45s no one else has, this 45 meets those requirements quite well....The green smudged marker on Part II side appears to say "To Mary Love Knolly Ohio Soul".
