HISTORY:

  First of all, I was the owner of the U.S. Independent Record Label, "WEB RECORDS", and I also subcontracted work from, "Megaforce Records", back in the mid 80's and early 90's.  I also did freelance writing for many Heavy Metal Magazines, back in this time period, so I own a lot of collectible albums and memorabilia that I have stored away for many years.  Now that I am growing close to 50 yrs old and my ears have sustained all the damage from loud music and concerts that they can take, it's time to let go of a few of my valuables!!!

    You are bidding on a RARE/ORIGINAL 1984 Limited Edition BATHORY "Bathory" 1st LP that was recorded at Heaven Shore Studio in Stockholm, Sweden on the BLACK MARK Label.  This is the highly sought after and more than readily infamous "yellow goat" first album cover layout.  Sporting it's unique yellow goat with red eyes and a white BATHORY logo,  limited to only 1.000 copies, it was produced in August 1983 and the "yellow goat" is not only instantly recognized, but has sadly been extensively bootlegged over the years, as well.  A certified original is a true die-hard collectors item, and frequently fans will email BATHORY, asking Quorthon to verify the authenticity of a recently purchased item sold
as genuine.  This still has the price sticker from the record store I purchased it from.  The album cover shows very little wear and the vinyl is in excellent condition, (see the pics).  You gotta hear this band!!!  This 1st LP of BATHORY is extremely hard-to-find and is now ready to be added to your metal collection or just a gift for your favorite mosher!!!    This is definitely a rare and hard-to-find album from the days of the best original metal!!!  To find out more about Bathory, visit these sites:
