********** INCREDIBLE ITEM ************ On offer here is what many say to be the rarest of all UK release BEATLES LP's as it is the version that omits "A day in the life" from the label. This LP sold many,many copies but so few were mis-printed as this copy is and has become one of the holy grail items amongst collectors of the BEATLES and rare LP's in general. Here is your chance to add this GEM to YOUR collection. St Pepper is considered amongst music enthusiasts around the world to be in the top 3 LP's of all time and features such memorable and groundbreaking tracks such as: -"Lucy in the sky with diamonds", "Lovely Rita" and "She's leaving home". There is a mix between conventional pop, heart wrenching ballads and way out psych - The BEATLES in exploration and transition, thus making for a bland of GENIUS. Issued in 1967 on the Yellow and Black Parlophone label under the issue number PMC 7027 with the matrix numbers for side 1 of XEX 637-1 and side 2 of XEX 638-1 (This is a true first pressing before somebody noticed the glaring error). The gatefold cover that needs no description is in EX condition with minor creasing and lifting of laminate being visible, Wide Spine is very tidy. Rear cover is EX+. Inside cover is very, very nice and again is EX+. Cut out insert is as new and can be graded easily at NM. Now for the important part of the package, the record - Vinyl is a good EXCELLENT, it does have light marks but nothing that will effect the pleasure of your listen (I have played both sides through). Tghe famous label does have a few spindle marks on it, no writing or tears but more importannt than anything else no credit to "A DAY IN THE LIFE". This is a TOP COPY of a TOP COLLECTABLE and as such if your a serious collector then this should be a must have item.
