Description

This Prestige 7028 Teddy Charles ”Collaboration West” LP is a first mono pressing reissued in 1956 of two August, 1953 Prestige sessions originally released on 10”: 

Prestige 164: “Teddy Charles Quartet-New Directions 3”.

Prestige 169: “Teddy Charles Quintet-New Directions 4”.

The LP was signed in 2010 at a NYC jazz club live performance. Vinyl cleaned using a VPI record cleaning machine before shipping. Any spindle wear occurred during the cleaning process. Photos show condition and details of actual items.

Album Description

·      VINYL- NM:: Album has never been played. A visual review shows no scuffs or scratches. Side-1: PLRP 7028-A, Side-2: PLRP 7028-B and “RVG” etched in runout.

·      RECORD LABELS: Deep groove, black and yellow “Fireworks” labels with “446 W. 50th St., N.Y.C.” address.

·      COVER- VG++: Glossy laminated front cover. Front and back surfaces show slight age wear, no corner cuts or seam splits. Autographed “New Directions Teddy Charles” on back cover with “446 W. 50th St., New York 19, N.Y.” address.

·      SLEEVE: Original onion skin sleeve.
