Description
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of the sole LP (not counting archival releases) by the Rationals, released in 1969. From the college town of Ann Arbor, Michigan (the hometown of the Stooges), the group was the first to be signed to the local A-Square label, which also put out early 45s by the MC5 and SRC, and released five singles on the label, along with three more on the Cameo label, between 1965 and 1968. Recorded near the end of their career, their LP features the same kind of hard R&B and soul-based rock as their singles, and branches out on a cover of Dr. John's "Glowin'." The jacket is close to M- with corner wear, and light spine and seam wear (EX+). The disc is clean with some light scuffing, and plays with occasional light surface noise -- EX(+).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
