Description
RAUL KOCZALSKI - Fryderyk CHOPIN - Waltz in C-sharp minor op. 64 no 2; PRELUDE in A-major op. 28 no 7 / BERCEUSE D-flat major op. 57 - 1940s Polish MEWA 12” 78rpm shellac record
Up for auction is a very rare 1940s 12” 78rpm record with recordings of RAUL KOCZALSKI (died in 1948).
Released in Poland on MEWA, catalogue number 30.
The record was cleaned and graded as follows.
Visual: slight dulling of the surface with visible, thin scratches and general handling marks.
Playback: plays through fine, the music sounds absolutely clear with no distortion but there is some noticeable background surface noise with crackle. According to VJM scale, I would give it a V- / V grade.
Both sides of the record were played through on a vintage 1950s Garrard record player.
The record comes in a plain cardboard sleeve.
