Description

This vintage record is a masterpiece of classical music conducted by Charles Munch. It features the Boston Symphony Orchestra, New England Conservatory Chorus and Alumni Chorus, and the stunning vocals of Maurice Ravel's “Daphnis and Chloe”.
The vinyl is in excellent condition - please see photos.  This edition comes in its original hard stock gatefold sleeve with a hard spine book binding.  This edition features some illustrations credited to a pre-POP ART Andy Warhol.  Unfortunately there is some visible water stain damage in the lower corner of the pages.  Please see photos.
This LP is a first edition release from 1955, marked by its black vinyl material and RCA Victor Red Seal label.  The gatefold was never fully exercised with this copy so it is difficult to accurately photograph the pages included but I did the best I could while striving to not damage the product.  I didn’t cover every page; let me know if there are any other photos that are of interest.

I played both sides of this LP completely through on my audio-technica AT-LP60XBT turntable without issues. It plays beautifully and sounds great considering it’s age.
