Description

This is an original 45 EP from my personal collection of Ravi Shankar & Chorus "Joi Bangla" and "Oh Bhaugowan" b/w "Raga Mishrajhinjhoti" by Ravi Shankar & Aliakbar Khan with Alla Rakah on Apple Records 1838 from 1972.  I bought this from a guy in the nineties that had multiple copies of many Apple 45s.  He said this was unplayed, and I haven't played it until today.  I do not believe it was played before, but what I do think is that he had too many copies in too small of a container or space for them.  I have these thoughts because of what the sleeve looks like.  There is also some light noise in the background which I will detail.  The two songs on Side A play very nice VG++ to M- with very light noise in the background at times.  They are quiet songs or you probably wouldn't notice it.  It has nice tone.  The noise is the cause of the lesser grade as it is on the B-side that plays VG+.  It is light noise and lessens as the song goes on and gets louder.  Again the tone is very nice.  The labels are nice and the record has a very nice shine.  The lip of the sleeve did leave a light paper scuff on one side that did not effect the sound.
