GATEFOLD SLEEVE IS OK CONDITION/ SOME CARDBOARD COME UNGLUED ON FRONT COVER - BOTH DISCS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. APPLE INNER SLEEVES GOOD CONDITION AS PICTURED .
Ravi Shankar and Ali Akbar Khan played together at the New York Philharmonic on October 8, 1972. Allan Steckler recorded the concert for future release and George Harrison mixed the recorded performance. Perhaps testing the waters with an American release in January 1973, Apple held back a British release of the album until April.
