THE RAVING MADD-45-“I Said Oh No No No” b/w “Boundaries”-Golstar Records # GO-1-COOL 1967 GARAGE / PUNK out of Florida...Maybe more Beatlesque than punk-great dual vocal similar to the Tears “Weatherman” or the Quests on Fenton...Sort of Beatles “Revolver” inspired punk...chop guitar (sort of in the rhythm of LOVE’s “7 And 7 Is” ) and organ dominated with a very short fast ‘echo guitar’ break-B-side is a fantastic Byrds-ish ‘production’ of sorts-basic structure and vocalizing at times based on the Byrds’ “You Showed Me”-complete with strings-sort of like the Byrds’ “Candy” version of “Child Of The Universe” in comparison to the one released on their own album...really great; not PUNK, but very ’67 British sounding; in a way like “Knights In White Satin”, or some of the early orchestrated Procol Harum tracks... Condition: Record is hard to grade-somewhere between VG++++ to MINT-Minus; has a very slight slow warp-barely noticeable; lovely condition overall.
