Description
This is the 7-inch, 45 rpm Raw Deal single "In The Mood" c/w "Out Of My Head" on White Witch WIT 701, issued in 1981. Click here for reverse.
This four-piece band, from the Orpington and Bromley area of Kent, played raw but accessible rock at the forefront of music at that time, and are considered by some to be part of the "New Wave Of British Heavy Metal" - NWOBHM. These two sides were engineered by the NWOBHM Demon Pact lead guitarist Richard Dickerson, and they were recorded in the same studio as the Demon Pact recordings issued on the Slime label.
This single has become a much sought-after collector's item over the years. It is being sold by the person who organized the recording session.
The record is original and brand new, and thus unplayed. It is not a pirate, bootleg, copy or anything else. It is the only legal release of Raw Deal material, apart from the track on the ultra-rare compilation "Kent Rocks" LP from the same period. This Raw Deal is not to be confused with other bands of the same name.
Someone has stated that picture sleeves exist for this record but the seller has no knowledge of them, and cannot find anyone to verify the statement. This record is supplied exactly as it came from the manufacturer's pressing plant (Lyntone in North London) in 1981 - in a plain white sleeve.
