RAW MATERIAL "TIME IS" LP 80s Unofficial edition of Neon NE 8 from 1971, gatefold cover VG/MINT! Exact reissue of the ultra rare 1971 classic prog LP by Raw Material. This, their second album, consists of six long keyboard driven tracks tastefully augmented with electric guitar, saxophone & flute. They are often compared to Van der Graff Generator. This album is generally considered superior to their 1969 debut on Evolution Records. Neon was the short-lived progressive imprint of RCA founded by Olav Wyper, the man who had been responsible for Vertigo Records. Only 11 albums appeared on the label before RCA pulled the plug due to low sales. All of these titles are rare & very collectable. Only released in England, originals of this record would now run in the hundreds of pounds. Gatefold cover by Keef, the designer responsible for the artwork on the first two Black Sabbath LPs as well as most of the Neon & early Vertigo covers.

Gatefold cover is intact with no writing or tears. There is general shelf wear & minor ring wear on the back (which may have been on the copy from which that this cover was shot). It is in VERY GOOD condition. Side 1 has a plain white label while the label on side 2 is white with black lettering listing all the titles. It has received very few plays & retains its sheen. It is in MINT condition w/no scuffs or scratches. This is an unofficial 80s pressing of a rare 1971 English progressive LP.
