RAY AND HIS MUSICAL FAMILY/COURT: ICY Records (Mfd in Miami in 1979) ON THE SHIP - Original Vinyl Album - This is an original 70's Pressing - NOT a reissue. In 1979 RAY AND HIS COURT were working on Cruise Ships. They had this album pressed up to sell to people on the ship. 2 songs, COOKIE CRUMBS and SUNNY were taken directly from the SOUND TRIANGLE album. The other 6 songs are unique to this LP. Most of them are forgettable, but SILENCIO is different. It starts out a slow ballad, then midway through it mutates into a really good SOUL/FUNK number. That's the first Track on the Sound Clip, and I've put a big piece of it on there so you can hear it. The overall sound quality of this album is around VG, but SILENCIO plays nicely at VG+/VG++. The Cover is SIGNED by the group, and is in Very Good Condition. There is some bottom left hand corner damage, which you can see in the Picture. The Labels are clean and New on both Sides. The Vinyl Record looks Almost New. . I hope that the Sound Clips will speak for themselves. I can only get to the Post Office once or twice a week, so please be patient. I can email you Overseas Postage rates. I can take PAYPAL (and others). The POST OFFICE LOSES PACKAGES, don't blame me if it happens to you. If bidding on this reaches $50, and it ships to a non-US buyer, Registered Mail will be required in addition to First Class Postage, but I'll pay $5.50 of the $13.95 Registered Mail fee. If it sells for over $120. to a non-US Bidder, it will have to ship Air Priority, which will run around $52; I'll have to Insure it for the Full Amount at my expense, and declare Full Value on the Customs Form. If it sells for over $500, it will have to ship EXPRESS MAIL, which will cost around $90.00. Since I will have to insure it, I will have to declare full sales value; if paying with some way other than Paypal, I can ship it any way you want. Paypal rules make it very difficult and expensive to ship anything out of the country now, since they require on-line Tracking Numbers.
